This notice explains how FinVerified handles your information when you interact with our payment-pathway compliance tools at a healthcare provider.
FinVerified is a compliance software company. We do not provide, manage, or facilitate patient financing. We help healthcare providers present financing options to you in a compliant way. We are not your lender, not your provider, and not a payment processor.
When you receive a "Magic Link" from your provider or interact with our payment pathway tools, we may collect: your name, phone number or email (to deliver the link), treatment description (to generate disclosures), and financing options you viewed or selected. We do not collect your Social Security number, credit score, bank account details, or medical diagnosis.
We use your information to: deliver required financing disclosures to you; record that you received and acknowledged disclosures (for compliance); pass your application to the lender you selected; and generate compliance reports for your provider and lender.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use it for advertising or cross-context behavioral tracking.
You have the right to: access the information we have about you; request correction or deletion; opt out of SMS communications (reply STOP); and file a privacy complaint. Contact: privacy@finverified.ai with subject "Patient Privacy Request."
If your provider has a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with us, limited health information may be processed under HIPAA protections. See our HIPAA Notice and BAA for details.
We encrypt your information in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted to authorized personnel. We notify affected individuals of data breaches as required by law.
